OUR ISTRUMENTS are made from solid, non-porous stainless steel to prevent the transfer of pathogens. Each instrument features angled-grooved grips to ease and ensure maximum comfort for the practitioner's hands during treatment. The varying diameters of the asymmetric concave convex curves are contoured to accommodate multiple body parts and a greater number of somatotypes. The doubled beveled calibrated edges circumnavigate the perimeter of each instrument elevating the practitioner's techniques to release restrictive collagen. Each instrument requires less pressure to detect and release collagenous scar tissue, virtually eliminating bruising of the patient and further speeding the return to activity.

Dynamic Release’s Instrumented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ISTM) is a multifaceted approach combining manual therapy, modalities, joint mobilization and 3-D Functional exercise with specially designed instruments to release collagenous scar tissue. These specially designed instruments assist in detecting and treating areas that exhibit soft tissue restrictions, adhesions, or chronic inflammation creating pain and dysfunction.

Soft tissue techniques with tools evolved from traditional Chinese medicine(Gua Sha) that was applied along meridians to extract bad chi through the skin. The implements utilized at that time were often made of ox horn, jade, rock, or metal objects of various shapes and sizes. Years later the Greeks and Romans used similar types of blade-shaped tools to treat athletes and gladiators for the same medicinal purposes.
